If the septal lines are regular (not specific)

Pulmonary oedema, lymphangitic carcinomatosis, venoocclusive disease, overload diseases (such as Niemann Pick disease), Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD), acute eosinophilic pneumonia

If the septal lines are nodular

Sarcoidosis, lymphangitic carcinomatosis, lymphoma, Kaposi sarcoma
