This module aims to increase your awareness and knowledge of pulmonary fibrosis. It will take approximately 1/2 hour and will cover the epidemiology and risk factors of pulmonary fibrosis, with emphasis on how to recognize the illness. After a short introduction, you can test your knowledge by means of a case study and at the end of the e-learning you can participate in a short quiz.
Learning objectives
After completing this e-learning you will….
know what ILD and pulmonary fibrosis entails
be able to name the risk factors for pulmonary fibrosis
understand why early detection of pulmonary fibrosis is important
know when to refer your patient
know what to look for in the case history of patients
know which tests are relevant to detect and diagnose fibrosis
be aware of ‘red flags’ that point towards progression of fibrosis
