SYMPTOMS
- Symptoms of Sjögren’s syndrome include:1,2,4
- Objective dryness in ocular and/or oral cavities
- Possible extraglandular manifestations:
- Renal tubular disorders
- Vasculitis
- Raynaud’s phenomenon
- Neurological manifestations
- Pulmonary involvement

Established diagnosis of Sjögren’s syndrome OR medical history + thorough physical exam + serologies (eg, antinuclear antibodies (ANA), anti-Ro antibodies/SSA (anti-Ro/SSA), anti-La antibodies/SSB (anti-La/SSB), RF, ESR) + eye tests (Schirmer, Rose Bengal) + minor salivary gland biopsy |
